Antique J.B. Lippincott Large Dark Brown Leather Bound Illustrated Family Bible. This Bible is in good antique condition. There are a few pages that are ripped or dog eared and you will find foxing and toning, but the text is clean and unmarked. The cover shows some signs of wear, use and age especially on the corners and edges. This was a family Bible and you will find births, marriages and deaths recorded. There is also some charming vintage ephemera included as well. The binding on the Bible is in wonderful condition there is no splitting and no loose pages. The publishing date is missing from the lower ripped front page, however from the names and dates within the Bible it can most likely be dated to the 1880s. It is 11.5” tall, 9.25” wide, and 3” deep.Please carefully review the photos for condition details.
