This Corinthian ceramic replica was beautifully made to show what Corinthian ceramics looked like during the Corinthian period. The powerful city of Corinth was the innovator in pottery decoration and dominated exportation the 7th and early 6th centuries BC by using light yellow clay and a painted decoration applying the technique of the black figure with final improvements craved with a stylus. This piece was hand painted and made in Greece to look similar to a vase created in 628 BC. It is in excellent condition.
