The National Geographic Book of Dogs, published by the National Geographic Society in 1958. Hardcover cloth bound with dust jacket, 342 Illustrations 189 in full color, 430 pages. This classic richly illustrated volume explores the history, breeds and roles of dogs around the world. Published in collaboration with the American Kennel Club. The dust jacket of this book shows wear and tear along corners and edges, but the book is in good condition. The covers are clean, the binding is strong, there are no loose or torn pages. There is some foxing just along the edges of the pages and they are a little wavy. Except for the orignal owners name text and illustrations are clean, unmarked and absolutely charming. The book measures 10 1/4” x 7 1/8” x 1”. Please carefully review all photos for condition details and feel free to ask questions.
