VIntage French Bulldog/Boston Terrier Ceramic Planter w/Gold Trim /cb

Adorable mid-century pup planter, likely made in the 1950s. It looks like it could be a French Bulldog or perhaps a Boston Terrier depending on how you look at it. What make this little guy special is his gold accents, you don’t see a lot with gold trim. There is a mark on the base but it is hard to make out what it says. Based on the look and craftsmanship, this piece looks Japanese. The planter was estate-owned and is in very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks found, light wear of the gold accents.
